I’m currently running a coaching and business growth consulting company while expanding the Immigrant Masters Unite message that has a unique Coaching Mastermind developed for Immigrant business owners and entrepreneurs.  While doing all of that, my personal bandwidth is maxed-out, and I need an amazing person to help me scale.

This is a very unique position…..a blend of executive assistant with great people skills, an “implementor” and project manager who can help see critical tasks through to completion.

In other words, I’m looking for an awesome, “right-hand man/woman”[/text_block]

Who Am I?

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]I’m Peter Kolat and known on the internet as the creator and founder of the Immigrant Masters Unite.  That’s on the front end but behind the scenes, I’m the go-to guy, coach and business growth maestro to some of the biggest names in the real estate investing industry, along with 15 other industries.

I teach people how to market their businesses on the internet, grow their empires and transform their own lives.  I create direct response sales funnels, drive millions of visitors to websites throughout the year.

More importantly, my passion is to help people bust through their own blind spots, their limiting beliefs that unknown to themselves, hold them back from achieving what they really want in their lives. I love people!

On a more personal side, I was born in Poland and came to United States when I was 14 years old.  When I came here, I was like most immigrants, did not speak a word of English and had to start from scratch.

Since then, I’ve been able to break through many life challenges, build couple of my own successful companies, help build several more and now, want to do the same for all of the immigrant business owners and entrepreneurs.[/text_block]

Here Is The Type Of Person I’m Looking For…

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]FAST FAST FAST! I am FAST – and I need you to keep up the pace! You work on 3 different things at once because otherwise you feel like you’re slacking off. You’re fast on your feet and can quickly change direction on a dime if the situation dictates.

You’re willing to take control: I need somebody that is a little dictator. I do not want somebody that’s super sweet like “I’m a gummy bear. I’m so happy! I’m sticky sweet from my head to my feet!” NO! I want somebody who’s like “HEY! This is what I need. Get it to me!” And I’m like “Ahhh here you go!” You will be the overseer of order!

You have the memory of a bloody ELEPHANT! I work so fast I forget stuff all the time so my live is in my calendar. Appointments. Meetings. Birthdays. You will be my living breathing memory bank, and you’ll need to save my behind at least on a weekly basis.

You absolutely ADORE what you do. This is important…no clockwatchers! Your focus needs to be on getting the job done – not getting the job done before the whistle blows. Heck, there isn’t a whistle anyway. (I’m a family man, have 3 amazing kids, so that’s VERY important HOWEVER sometimes I have to sit and finish something after everyone is asleep so that I can push on our goals and deadlines… so you may also have to do the same).

You can tolerate ME! To be clear – I’m a great guy, nice, generous, positive, but you also have to be able to deal with me not giving much direction, my slow (or nonexistent) communications and me generally ignoring you in favor of working on my businesses. If this is you, we’ll get along like a house on fire.

You have truly ASTOUNDING attention to detail. I’m a GET-IT-DONE-GUY – that’s one factor behind my success. So you need to fill in the details, and be absolutely anal about it. I need correspondence, emails, schedules, to all be as perfect as possible. If an email or sales page has typos, I’ll be very annoyed, and what’s worse, it could cost me money. So you must be uber-accurate with schedules and other details. You also HATE a messy desk or office.

You are a DIAMOND. Diamonds are created under pressure – and you’ll find yourself in plenty of situations where you need to be lightning fast, ultra accurate and absolutely perfect, all in a very very short space of time. Multi-tasking and organizational skills. You’ll be working on several different projects at once, and I can’t have you sitting there with your head spinning. I need someone who can set priorities and get things done.

Top notch teamwork, communication skills, and attitude. My team runs like a well-oiled machine because everyone pulls together and has a great attitude. Anyone who isn’t a team player will very quickly find themselves on the outside.

You’ve got integrity.  That means, you keep your word.  I don’t play games, tolerate excuses and the “dog ate my homework” stuff doesn’t work with me.  I get that things change and life happens.  And when that happens, I expect you to stay in communication.  I’m sure that we can work out 99% of the things that come up.  But I don’t want to chase you around.  If you can communicate, you’ll do great![/text_block]

Required Skills

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]Computer Literate: You MUST be VERY VERY VERY computer literate….Our entire businesses use a lot of technology…. that means that you have to feel comfortable figuring things out when it comes to software and things on the web. More details about this further down the page.

High Speed Internet Connection – goes without saying that you should have a fast internet connection. If you only have a 3 megabyte line then you’re going to be struggling.

Windows or Mac? – I’m a MAC guy but know how to use those OTHER computers. 🙂  If you’re a windows person then I would also expect you to know your way around a Mac and working through some issues issues.

Excellent Written English – This is a MUST have for me and deal breaker. You have to able to communicate extremely well in the written word. This means structure, proper use of nouns and adjectives, etc. Your ability to communicate precisely using the written word is very important.

You LOVE checklists: Your first instinct the moment you have a project in your hand is to create a checklist. You love guidelines and having everything spelled out in detail. You love organization and making sure that everything is exactly where it needs to be.

You should be a great typist – If you’re only typing at 30 words per minute.. then that’s going to slow us down. I personally type in excess of 90 words a minute…. you don’t have to type that fast but if you’re way slower than that’s going to annoy me very quickly.

You’re a research ninja – That means that you can find a great space for our mastermind, book a plane ticket, research a new online service we need to add to our company, order company shirts from a great company and other stuff. 🙂

Pleasing personalityThis is VERY IMPORTANT.  You’ll be interacting with clients, customers, and various business partners. So having a pleasing personality is a MUST. That means you’re outgoing, fun and positive when on the phone with people (just like me).[/text_block]

Here’s A Small Sample Of What You’ll Be Doing:

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]Email Inbox: If you have an inbox overflowed with hundreds of unread emails then this position is likely not for you. This is because eventually you’ll also be in charge of reading all of my incoming emails, tagging the critical ones that I should look at and handling the rest of them.

Calendar Management: You’ll be in charge of managing all appointments for me during the day, dealing with the back and forth scheduling, handling cancellations, Ensure I have all meeting info (agenda, time zone, directions, other person’s bio, etc) so I can open appointment and GO!

Creating Systems: You’ll be writing procedures and organizing them inside of our google drive account and dropbox application. You will ensure that files get name according to our standard protocol and then filed to the proper location in our online storage

Onboarding New Hires – Copying, pasting, preparing our onboarding process for new hires. Setting up all accounts new hire will need (email account, Convo, etc…). Sharing all Google Docs new hire will need.

Onboarding New Interviewees – Researching new Immigrant Masters Unite Interviewees, contacting them, copying, pasting, preparing them for our interview. You’ll get my completed process for doing that, so no worries.

Be my Gate Keeper & Follow up Ninja – We do facebook marketing for our mastermind and you’ll be the first gatekeeper for people who apply for it.  You’ll set up the times for my consultation calls and follow up with them after the call.  You’ll also follow up with the people I interviewed for my national podcast.

Personal Items: You’ll also need to help me with personal items. Perhaps I need help in booking a vacation or business trip and need tickets, hotels and research to make it all work. I may need you to coordinate podcast fulfillment, research and book a space for an upcoming mastermind (3 times per year) and other things related to that. Perhaps I need to find and ship gifts for clients or friends.

Helping me with the technology in our business: You’re going to be helping me with a lot of the technology that we use in our businesses. You DON’T need to know how to use all of them BUT if you’re at least familiar with them… or can just say “Don’t worry .. give me an hour and I’ll figure it out” then we’re going to work very well together. (Here’s a few of the things we use in our business: getresponse, wordpress, smartsheet.com, dropbox, google docs, zendesk, optimizepress.

Microsoft Office (and google docs): I do powerpoints so you’ll need to help me with creating powerpoint presentations, formatting word documents, and working on excel spreadsheets (some of these are in google docs as well)

You’ll be a part of my business and personal life. I’ll be relying on you to keep things running as I run my businesses, and you’ll quickly become the most important person in my organization. As such trust is HUGE for me.[/text_block]

Does Your Geographic Location Matter?

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]The location does not matter but here are a few things that may put things in your favor.

Local in Southeast Michigan: If you’re close to me (Macomb County, MI), it means that we can meet in person so we can strategize to take over the world, and have some power launches. Being on the road will NOT be your primary thing you do (it’s not an every day occurence) but being local does have it’s advantages.

Eastern Time zone – if you’re in the same timezone as me then that could work in your favor. However, a different time zone may work better for you since then you can adjust your schedule to favor based on your personal schedule.[/text_block]

Your Schedule…

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]You’ll be working remotely from home, 95% of the time, so you’ll need to be a self-motivated rock star who takes pride in their work, and work-ethic.

If you need a structured office environment with set hours, this position is definitely not for you. I have no desire to manage you or your schedule. Your performance is judged strictly by your results.  Again, that’s why integrity and trust are extremely important. :)[/text_block]

Compensation and Getting Paid!

[text_block style=”style_1.png” align=”left”]You’ll start part-time as a 1099 independent contractor with an expected workload of 10-15 hours per week.

After the probation period you will then transition to a more full time position.  The more you can help me scale, the greater the opportunity to go full time and make more money. The range of pay for this position is $12/hour to $20/ hour to start.  Yes, I said start.

The pay range depends on your experience level, if you’ve done this type of work before, familiarity with the tools that i listed above and most importantly, the results you’ll provide.  I’m open to bonuses as well depending on performance and business growth.  The more we grow, the more you’ll make, simple as that. :)[/text_block]
